  Message board ranks...who cares?

  not to be mean but why should i care that you have 3,000 posts?

  this yet again proves how useless even making stats like this public are.

  it just gives people ammo to say, "i have 25,000 posts so obviously i am more vested in this board then you".

  i work for a telecommunications company and in so doing, i deal with a lot of fraud.

  now, what i am about to say could come across as racist and i hope people read the whole thing to get what i am saying and know i am not racist (... to add though, i really am past caring what people think).

  in the state of north carolina, you can run up your phone bill to $1000's and $1000's and by law you only have to pay basic local service to keep services on.

  Chilvary, Women's Rights and Striking a Woman

  before i start this, i under no circumstance condone striking another human especially a woman except for in self defense.. with that stated i was bred to believe and still do that it is my responsibility to protect the women in my life.

  i try to teach a measure of self defense to my sisters daughters and almost every girlfriend and female friend that i've ever had.

  the following thoughts were produced from a discussion with my ex girlfriend.

  Yea I have never used it. I do think there should a bit of open dialog on the fact that many women are for equal treatment except in circumstances like this. Not saying all, but there are quite a few who scream equality then when they start a fight they expect to be protected by the "weaker" argument. So I do think that in order to be truly liberated we have to take a stand off approach to the "women can't fight" principle. Speaking of women's rights this video always made me laugh....

  Let me just point out this is merely a "vent" post. I don't think that anyone takes it super seriously, or that it's such a bad thing. It just has always (look out! hasty insult!) been dumb (to me) to be super excited you reached so many posts. Thats all. Of course when I have 3000 posts I might be rubbin' it in everyones face!

It just gives people ammo to say, "I have 25,000 posts so obviously I am more vested in this board then you". So your a "jedi"? Big deal! Oh Emperor Class? Uh yea I'm impressed. Sorry to vent but this frustrates me on ANY message board. One message board I am on had "karma" points it, got so bad with everyone dishing and taking away karma points what seemed a good idea had to be taken away. I personally am OK with a class system based on length of time not some ridiculous amount of posts. Some of my favorite posters on here only post once in awhile. So for anyone who gets annoyed at posts by people bragging they got to 5,000,000,000 posts with in 4 months...this is for you.

  My Dad always said, "son if a woman is man enough to hit you, you should be man enough to hit back". Never had to use that but's generally how I feel for anyone. If their brave enough to hit me I should be brave enough to hit them. My Dad always got attacked by an ex wife with a frying pan so maybe he is a bit jaded.

  besides the obvious cat fights, flame wars and other mundane nonsense that comes up from time to time.

  all of which i think can come and go and be put out rather easy with good moderators and this sight seems to do a good job.

  what i am talking about, is something so nasty that when you look back at it years later.

  I was on a message board ran by a band. This band has a small cult following so the fans are a bit rabid about information. If you said anything negative about the band your post would be deleted. If WE reported any news our post would be deleted and on the official site right after the post was deleted the "news" would be reported in a "you heard it hear first!" fashion. I said I liked the lead singers music but after meeting him in person felt he was a bit of an A-hole. I was banned from the message board. We ended up having the last laugh sometime later though. After creating our own message board for the band we were able to buy a CD off EBAY the band did everything in their power to stop from being leaked. We are in the works of getting another album the lead singer stopped from being leaked on the net. Take that jerk!

  First of all the NFL has a habit of teams losing to unknown QB's. Again you guys didn't look at my statement he is good now but I predict next year he will blow hard. I know he was AMAZING vs the Patriots and oh that playoff game yea he was SUPERMAN! Romo has way too much hype and his lack of skills will eventually show when there is no T.O. to throw to.

  Update on my life =(

  and the past 4 months we have been having problems.

  i posted on the board in the past about the first incident.. but we decided to work on it since she seemed genuinely remorseful... it is hard to beleive now that she abandoned all her morals, her religion, family and friends to persue this pipe dream..... it all started out like this.

  but i guess the little things like that meant nothing.

  No offense dude but you need to kick that tramp to the curb. Sounds like she has MAJOR issues that you can't help. She has proven over and over she doesn't care about your feelings. Cry and move on.
